Vintage Cased Ruby Glass Ashtray with Trapped Bubbles Hand-Made
Eye-catching vintage cased ruby glass ashtray bowl hand-made in the Mid-20th Century. Blown in ruby red cased in colorless with trapped bubbles between the layers.
Besides being absolutely beautiful to look at, it is well-made for its purpose. Stands 3″ tall, providing for a nice deep bowl to retain the smoking debris. Provides 6 cradle rests extending over the ash surface, allowing your smoke to float and burn evenly. Surrounded by pulled colorless glass tab handles for easy transport.
Weighs 2.8 lbs! Measures 7.75″ round. Base was polished flat. The base shows heavy bottom wear (see image 4). This is caused by surface contact over the past 50 or so years and is not considered damage. Slight ash receiving surface (center of bowl) wear. Unnoticeable. In very good condition.
