Mid-Century hand-made pottery ashtray in the form of a Sperm Whale.
Probably made in the U.S.A.. There are no makers marks.
Glazed in decor friendly browns and creams. Four cigarette-size cradle rests. The tail end is great for resting pipes. The eyeball is a snuffer.
Measures 11″ long, 3½” wide and 1½” tall. In perfect, like new condition. Estimated age about 50 years old.
