Mid-Century retro modern owl ashtray in hand-glazed pottery. Perfect smoking accessory for your favorite owl lover.
Probably made in the 1970’s. Everyone loved owls and mushrooms in the 1970’s. This is a fine example of mid-century owl art, well-designed and well-made. Likely made in the U.S.A. or Japan, no maker’s mark.
Inner rest bar combined with the opening ledge allows for resting any size smoke, plus pipes and incense. Small hole at the top of the owl’s head allows for smoke to drift out of his head and looks amusing.
Measures 5.25″ tall, 5″ wide and 2.5″ thick. In like-new condition.
