Large glass ashtray sports four long cradle rests over an ample bowl to balance cigars or smaller smokes. Measures 7.5″ square, 1.75″ tall, and weighs 2 lbs. The matching basket is in an English Hobnail pattern with a satin finish.
The Imperial slag glass ashtray was made in the days when ashtrays were works of art. Handmade…no two are exactly the same. Eye-catching decor and quality made vintage glass.
Image 7 is of the original Imperial Glass label for its slag glass ashtray line. It tells an interesting story about these fascinating ashtrays. This ashtray does not have the label. The basket is marked with the embossed with the Imperial Crown maker’s mark.
This ashtray features 2″ long, 1″ wide hand-finished rests. The rim was heat-polished by hand. Heavy, thick-walled glass is sturdy and cleans-up easily.
Distinctive and classy vintage marbled glass retro glass ashtray and matching basket. Made in the 1960’s through 1970’s. Both in excellent condition.
