Dark Sapphire Diamond Cut Cigar Ashtray by Viking Art Glass U.S.A.
Vintage Viking Art Glass (#6724) ashtray introduced in 1967. Production continued through the mid 1970’s. Thick, luscious vintage molded glass.
No seams. In good condition with some signs of use on the ash surface. The imperfections are so small it cannot be seen in the images.
Dazzling blue color, looks like a jewel. The color was patented and called Bluenique by Viking Art Glass. Pattern called Diamond.
Wide stylized level V-rests and deep bowl accommodates the largest of cigars, and all other sized smokes. Cigar shown is a 6″ fatty. Big ashtray weighs 3.5 lbs, measures 8.5″ wide, 2.25″ tall.
