Hand blown blue ball art glass ashtray by Blenko, USA circa 1960’s.

Retro mod 1960’s handmade glass ashtray in a bubble shape with 3 hand formed rests.  The color is Blenko’s infamous ‘Turquoise’, known to collectors as ‘Blenko Blue’.  Original part number is 6321.  According to Blenko’s numbering method, this mod blue ball art glass ash bowl was the 21st design of their 1963 product line.

Thick hand blown vintage glass blue ball ash bowl stands 3″ tall.  Perfect for containing large amounts of smoking debris. Heavy ashtray won’t get knocked around easily.  Weighs 2 lbs.  Measures 5″ wide.

In like-new condition.  Hand blown pontil scar on base.  Base has a polished flat ring encircling the pontil scar. Glass has some tiny unintentional trapped bubbles inherent in almost all Blenko glass objects.

Beautiful big ball of vintage quality, thick hand-made glass from the past…aproximately 60 years old. Designed as an ashtray, works well as a pipe-holder, and can double as a flower bowl when not in ash service.
